So when a friend from college calls you up and says "Hey you wanna come to Oregon to shoot my wedding?" My instant response was... Heck Yes!!! But, one better we arrive at this awesome lodge with Mt. Hood looming in the distance the excitement grows even greater, because the picture possibilities are lets say...endless!!! But, on that beautiful wedding day the weather didn't quite want to cooperate with us and so temps. of 50 degrees and snowy drizzle at 6000 feet make it quite interesting. But we weathered the storms and Joe & Les were troopers and we got some awesome shots because of it. Note: Most of the pictures would include an awesome mountain in the background (see earlier post) but the cloud cover just wouldn't have it that way. So here they are....
This is what we had to battle....Good Times!!!!!
Not Gonna lie...we are all freezing our butts off here.....
Here is the new official Ray Peoples Photography logo and branding image. Several folks helped on facebook with some other logos but I think this one rocks!!! I told Abbi, this is one of those times where I dreamed something, got up, worked on it ...and it turned out better than I drempt it would... let me know what you think!!!
So, for those of you who don't know this is my wife Abbi. After nine months of pregnancy I finally talked her into some shots. I don't typically do maternity shots so this was a little out of my comfort zone. I also tried some new editing techniques...so...here they are... my little lady friend...
Here are some more of Hillary & Jarrod's big day!!! These two are crazy in love and have a wonderful fun loving side. They were a great couple to spend the day with.
So right now I am in Oregon shooting Lesley and Joe's wedding weekend but, got a little extra bonus...seeing Shaun White!!! Taking a picture with SHAUN WHITE!!! Les invited him to the wedding on Sunday...he said he might come...we shall see! haha
So, Hillary and Jarrod had a battle royale with their cake! Not really sure who won but, I do have to say...IT WAS AWESOME!!!! Thought this was great! More to come soon from this awesome wedding!
This is Tracy & Travis, or you can call them T-N-T, cause they are HOT!! Ok, that was very cheesy I know, but this couple is smokin'. They are uber in love and just so dang photogenic, making my job pretty stinkin' easy...
Tracy and Travis got hooked up on a blind date. They say their story isn't anything amazing, but I think every couples story is great....Their first meeting was in the Wal-Mart parking lot. Looking back now, Tracy says she was a little crazy to just "hop in the car with this strange guy." All the while, this strange guy had only seen Tracy through her myspace page, which according to him... "didn't do her justice". So, after a lovely meal, several hours were spent back in the Wal-Mart parking lot just chatting about all kinds of things. And as they say "the rest was history".
As you scan the photos, they answered a few questions for me just to get to know them...

THE BLOG says hello..! If this is your first time here, welcome, if not.. well...thanks for coming back, in fact come back any time you wish.
If you don't know me my name is Ray Peoples, I am a wedding & lifestyle photographer located in Fort Smith, Arkansas.
I have a very laid back, simplistic, photojournalistic approach to my weddings and want to capture every element of your day as it unfolds.
Often, brides and grooms will say their day was such a blur. But, in that blur things happen, beautiful things happen, and it is our job, from start to finish, to capture those moments and transform them into something you can keep around for a long time.
So if you want to see more of how we do things... check out some of our older posts or check out our website at:
